Orientation
All students who participate in a study abroad or exchange program with Georgia Southern must attend a mandatory pre-departure study abroad orientation. This orientation is designed to ensure all students are prepared for their experiences abroad.

Various topics will be covered including:

  • Safety & Security

  • Health Abroad

  • Technology

  • How to Pack and What to Bring

  • Culture Shock and How to Cope

  • Course Credits and what to prepare before leaving

2020 Summer Study Abroad Orientation: Cancelled
Fall 2020/Academic Year Exchange Orientation: TBD

**All in-person orientations are cancelled through July 2020. The orientation for outgoing exchange students for Fall 2020/Academic Year will be rescheduled to an online orientation. All students who are participating in this program will receive specific information about the online orientation.
