What is the Global Portal?

The Global Portal is your one-stop-shop for all things study abroad, study away, exchange and travel.

In this portal you are able to:

Search for study abroad/study away/exchange programs. Search by area of study, country, term, program name and plenty of others
Apply for study abroad/study away/exchange programs by visiting a program page
Apply as an incoming exchange student to receive your DS-2019
Learn about scholarships & financial aid and what kind of options you have to help fund your program!
Apply to OGE sponsored scholarships for study abroad
Submit a study abroad program proposal for faculty and staff interested in leading a study abroad program
Complete program evaluations
And more!

How to Login to the Global Portal

First-Time Users

Students must first begin an application for a program before logging into the Global Portal. You can search for programs by clicking the "Search All Programs" link in the left side bar. After finding a program you are interested in and wish to apply for:

Click Apply Now
Georgia Southern Student, Faculty or Staff:
- Click I have a username and password
  - Login with your MyGeorgiaSouthern Portal Credentials
Non-Georgia Southern Members:
- Click I don't have a username and password
- Follow instructions to be sent login credentials
- Login with the credentials provided
- You will be given the option to change your password

Returning Users

Georgia Southern Student, Faculty or Staff:
- Click Login in the top right sidebar.
- Login with your MyGeorgiaSouthern Portal credentials
Non-Georgia Southern Members:
- Click Non-Georgia Southern Login in the top right sidebar
- Login with your email address and your updated password
